Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of fabrication and assembly workers to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Enforce and implement all safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that personnel operate in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Determine temporary labor needs and arrange for employees as required.
  • Schedule shifts and time off requests for full-time employees on both day and night shifts.
  • Manage and administer reviews, evaluations, and salary requests for full-time fabrication employees.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing a warehouse fabrication department.
  • Ability to hire, schedule, and manage warehouse employees.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, and carpentry.
  • Ability to set budgets and follow accounting guidelines for the department.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to manage changing workloads and schedules.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
