Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
- Read and interpret blueprints to select the appropriate tools and materials for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings.
- Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall to create high-quality carpentry products.
- Select the right tool, material, and method to complete various carpentry tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Install doors, windows, partitions, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
- Create structures for pouring concrete to ensure accurate and durable results.
- Verify that installed items meet specific quality specifications to maintain our company's reputation for excellence.
- Motivate team members to work together to accomplish project completion while promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a carpenter, with a strong background in construction-related equipment and techniques.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints accurately, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- A full range of physical motion is required to operate manual and electrically-powered tools, sprayers, and construction-related equipment.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on skills and experience, with opportunities for career growth and development within our company.
