Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Van Driver to transport our clients to and from the Adult Day Care Center in Maryland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in their community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport clients to and from the center in a 15-passenger van, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
  • Assist clients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, providing support as needed.
  • Participate in structured activities within the center while on the floor with clients, engaging them in meaningful interactions.
  • Assist clients with toileting needs and provide emotional support as required.
  • Accompany clients to scheduled appointments outside of the center, providing reliable transportation services.
  • Communicate effectively with staff members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Experience driving passenger vans or 15-passenger vans is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to lift and assist clients as needed is crucial for this role.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and training & development opportunities.
