About the Role
As an Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will provide expert nursing services in high-intensity medical environments. Your duties will encompass evaluating patient health statuses, administering prescribed medications, coordinating comprehensive treatment strategies, and offering educational support to patients and their families. You will work closely with a dedicated team of Acute Care Registered Nurses to ensure the highest standards of patient care and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver direct nursing care to patients in acute care environments, including:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing patient care strategies.
- Monitoring and interpreting vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with diagnostic evaluations as necessary.
- Educating patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery and prevent complications.
- Maintaining precise and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (additional certifications as required by the facility)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Acute Care nursing
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills
