Inspector - Nightshift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Fire Protection Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Night Shift Fire Protection Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Sprinkler systems.

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Sprinkler systems, including wet/dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, fire hydrants, and backflow prevention devices.
• Inspect and test life safety product lines, as well as similar competitive manufacturers' product lines.
• Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
• Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.
• 5+ years of documented experience in sprinkler systems.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA 25 & NFPA 13 and ability to reference material during inspections.
