About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians
  • Provide patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures
Requirements
  • Graduated from a school of sonography or received on-the-job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound
  • Must hold multiple registries with an emphasis on vascular (ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS)
  • IV certification is required
  • BLS
  • More than five (5) years experience as a cardiovascular sonographer
