Job Summary

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic inpatient setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' disease processes and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to modify therapy as needed.
  • Provide patient and family education on respiratory equipment and services, infection control practices, and disease processes.
  • Assist with discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care for patients.
  • Perform routine surveillance and equipment inspection to ensure proper use and functioning of respiratory equipment.
  • Participate in patient care rounds and communicate effectively with nursing and ancillary staff.
  • Document patient care and therapy in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Adhere to department and hospital policies and procedures regarding safety standards and infection control.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of New Jersey.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credential or eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and ever-changing healthcare environment.
