Role Responsibilities:

The Equipment Staging Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our technicians have the necessary equipment ready for deployment. This position focuses on:

  • Assisting technicians by unpacking and preparing hardware and equipment for efficient setup.
  • Unpacking: Dismantling crates and removing protective packaging from machinery and accessories.
  • Preparation: Organizing hardware and accessories systematically for streamlined assembly.
  • Equipment Movement: Transporting equipment between staging and technician work areas as needed.
  • Maintaining flexibility to adapt to varying workload demands across different areas.

Additional Duties Include:

  • Disposing of packaging materials appropriately.
  • Arranging hardware and accessories in a designated order on tables and trays.
  • Labeling workstations with relevant information for tracking purposes.
  • Identifying and reporting any discrepancies in equipment or missing components.
  • Updating work order statuses as required.
  • Communicating proactively with technicians and supervisors regarding workflow and equipment readiness.
  • Ensuring accuracy in serial number verification against documentation.
  • Documenting any issues clearly and concisely.
  • Utilizing computer systems for status updates and internal communications.
