Position Overview:

The individual will undertake an ETL/Oracle developer role focused on the Regulatory Data initiative within the Wholesale Credit sector. This role necessitates collaboration with various stakeholders to design and develop a comprehensive Regulatory data platform.

Core Competencies:

Primary Skill: Oracle Exadata

Secondary Skill: Oracle SQL / PL/SQL

Tertiary Skill: Python

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in application and ETL process development within the Global Banking Regulatory Data Source Ecosystem.
  • Ability to source data from diverse systems into the Oracle Exadata Data Lake, ensuring data conformity and provisioning for downstream processes.
  • Capability to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed design specifications.
  • Commitment to maintaining security and data privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in proposing best practices and standards, along with preparing high-level and low-level design documentation.
  • Experience in coding, unit testing, and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • Strong database programming skills, including the design and development of stored procedures, functions, tables, triggers, and optimizing SQL queries for performance.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and innovative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in CECL, CCAR, Regulatory Reporting, or client-related projects.
