About the Role

As a CBRE HVAC Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality preventive maintenance and corrective repair services for commercial and industrial HVAC, refrigeration equipment, and other building systems.

The role requires effective communication with technical business leaders, facilities managers, and clients to forecast workload demand and project completion. You will manage, plan, coordinate, and schedule the workload, completion time frames, and daily activities of the support team members to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing supervision and leadership of a service team to ensure the efficient and safe maintenance of client locations.
  • Developing a detailed daily workforce schedule by technician crew to ensure all skills, requirements, and resource availability are met.
  • Managing all technical training requirements, including competency assessments, critical services training, and scenario training exercises.
  • Communicating with clients and facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance opportunities to expand contract scope.
  • Overseeing the on-site activity of sub-contractors performing hard services.
  • Ensuring compliance with all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements.
  • Applying advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Coaching others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Leading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience.
  • Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in critical facilities such as data centers, life sciences, healthcare preferred.
  • HVAC Certification preferred (Universal CFC, Refrigeration, etc).
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills.
