About the Role

Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of radiology technologists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the diagnosis and treatment of patients undergoing invasive radiographic procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment such as X-Rays, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) to assist in guiding small instruments such as catheters through blood vessels or other pathways.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of radiology technologists, ensuring efficient and effective imaging services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal use of resources.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Sterile technique, excellent radiography skills, understanding of vascular anatomy.
  • 6 months training/experience in special procedures.
  • MRT – TMB required. CPR - (American Heart Association).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in radiology or a related field.
  • ARTT, CMRT, or RDMS certification.
