We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of children aged 3-6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each child, promoting independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning.
  • Develop and maintain a beautiful and orderly classroom environment that encourages concentration, exploration, and discovery.
  • Provide individualized support to children, helping them to develop practical skills, literacy, math, and other essential skills.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Montessori diploma or certification for 3-6 age range.
  • Experience working with children in a group setting, preferably in a Montessori environment.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
