Emergency Department Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, from pediatric patients to adults. You will work collaboratively with our board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals of all ages, including pediatric patients, in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote a culture of excellence.
- Work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, communication, and respect for others.
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 2 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
