About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate and high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy (MNT) services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of nutrition-related health issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Participate in performance improvement projects, serving as a clinical nutrition expert and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Assist in the education and training of nutrition assistants, food service staff, and dietetic interns, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing effective patient care and ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
Requirements
  • 0-3 years of experience in clinical dietetics and/or healthcare food service settings.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) status, with eligibility to obtain State of Practice License.
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills, as well as proficiency in software programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
