Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Food Presentation: Weighs and measures designated ingredients, carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Food Service: Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures, cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment, serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Quality Control: Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures, assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Training: Willing to train.
