Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A OTR to join our team at Haul. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload freight, and assist with securing cargo
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the type of cargo being hauled
  • At least 9 months of experience as a Class A CDL driver in the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience in the past 5 years, or 5 years of experience in the past 10 years
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and logs

Working Conditions

This is a solo driver position, and you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination across the country. You will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to spend extended periods of time away from home.
