Key Responsibilities

  • Take vital signs and review patient charts to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments and facilitate communication within the clinic.
  • Clean and sterilize procedures to maintain infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Administer vaccinations and manage in-basket tasks to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • 6 months of recent relevant work experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
