We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team at Anne Arundel Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiac surgery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our clinical teams to manage cardiac surgery patients in the pre-operative, peri-operative, post-operative, and outpatient environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Works collaboratively with clinical teams to manage cardiac surgery patients
- Collects data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, including interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures
- Formulates a treatment plan for cardiac problems within scope of practice and implements therapeutic interventions as needed
- Participates in quality and patient satisfaction review processes and incorporates feedback into improvement plans
- Uses current healthcare research findings and other evidence to expand clinical knowledge and enhance role performance
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant School or graduate of an accredited school of nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- At least two (2) years of related Cardiac Surgery clinical experience
- Current License as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
