Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing medical care to adults in the outpatient setting, supervising residents and medical students, and participating in quality improvement and research projects.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to adults in the outpatient setting, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Supervise residents, medical students, and other learners as needed, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success.
- Coordinate with inpatient care teams to ensure safe discharge of patients and seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement and research projects to enhance patient outcomes and advance the field of internal medicine.
- Stay up-to-date with continuing medical education requirements and maintain licensure and certification.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine.
- Licensure by the Texas Medical Board.
