Staff CADD Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Technician to join our team at Triad Engineering. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and modifying maps, as well as performing manual drafting in support of various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CAD software to create and modify designs, maps, and other technical documents.
- Collaborate with engineers and other staff to provide CADD drafting and design support for civil engineering projects.
- Perform manual drafting to create technical drawings and documents.
- Work under the direction of the Practice Leader or engineer to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Provide quantity estimates and other measurements from CADD files to support cost estimates.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure that technical documents convey accurate information.
- Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school courses in computer-aided drafting desirable.
- No experience required; 1 year of experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) and ability to learn company/client software.
