We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Independence Corrugated, a leading manufacturer of corrugated products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues, using precision maintenance techniques and following established procedures.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to complete projects and tasks, and provide support to other departments as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Education: GED or high school diploma, with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience, with a strong background in maintenance functions.
- Skills: Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and humid conditions, and loud noise levels.
