Swoon is seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to lead our cloud-based BI solutions in the Azure cloud.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize cloud-based BI solutions using Azure services like Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large-scale processing and data transformations.
  • Build and manage ETL pipelines for moving data from on-premise Oracle systems to Azure or other cloud-based solutions.
  • Implement best practices for version control using Git.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in all aspects of Azure, including Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
  • Technical expertise in Python and PySpark programming languages.
  • Experience integrating data from on-premise Oracle systems to Azure or other cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and data governance principles.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Location: Camden, NJ (hybrid role - 3 days a week on-site).

$140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
