About the PositionThis is a standard nine-month faculty appointment with a competitive startup package. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment in the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice and the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), emphasizing interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology and criminal justice
- Conduct research in criminology and criminal justice, with a focus on quantitative methods and statistical expertise
- Secure extramural funding for research projects
- Collaborate with faculty members in the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice and the Institute for Social Science Research
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related social-behavioral field
- Strong statistical expertise and research productivity
- Commitment to advancing the field of social sciences
- Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology and criminal justice
