Job Description:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for creating an outstanding optical experience for our guests by combining their knowledge, skills, and personality with the needs of our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet sales targets and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings that meet the needs of our customers.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
- Maintain a positive store environment, fostering strong professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in retail or customer service.
- 1+ year experience in sales or customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell using effective sales skills and take ownership of sales results.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
