Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) sector to take on the role of Project Manager. This position is critical in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the Geotechnical or CMT field, or a related degree.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I
    • Nuclear Gauge User Safety
    • Additional certifications as applicable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans and specifications thoroughly.
  • Prepare and assess field observation and laboratory test reports with diligence.
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct site visits for inspections as required.
  • Perform construction materials testing in line with project specifications.
  • Calibrate and maintain both field and laboratory testing equipment.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
  • Utilize various testing instruments effectively.
  • Document site visits and report findings promptly.
  • Maintain open communication with contractors and colleagues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
  • Willingness to travel for project needs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and non-standard hours as necessary.
  • Commitment to operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $26.00 per hour
