**Job Summary**
The Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team on a per diem basis. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
**Requirements:**
- Current RN licensure in the State of Florida
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Acute care experience preferred
