To enhance our fraud detection strategies, we require a creative professional capable of developing and refining signals for our native iOS mobile SDK, with opportunities to extend this expertise to Android platforms. This role will involve working closely with web researchers to boost the accuracy of iOS Web identification and other Smart Signals, including VPN detection in iOS/Android browsers. The ideal candidate will be proactive in exploring new avenues and devising unconventional solutions to address fraud-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction: Leverage iOS developer APIs to gather data artifacts that enhance VPN detection. If applicable, extend these methodologies to Android.
  • Innovation in Security: Utilize your expertise to innovate and improve our fraud prevention products, SDKs, and APIs. Create strategies to safeguard our findings from reverse engineering by competitors.
  • Collaboration with Researchers: Analyze data in mobile browsers using iOS browser APIs. Investigate specific areas of iOS for effective data extraction and identification.
  • Task Management: Prioritize tasks based on business requirements, focusing on critical areas such as remote device control detection.
  • Competitive Analysis: Examine competitors' fraud prevention solutions and assess their functionalities.
  • Documentation and Prototyping: Document your findings and produce non-production proof-of-concept code.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A degree or relevant experience in security.
  • Mindset: A hacker mentality or a strong interest in security and fraud prevention.
  • Technical Skills: A solid understanding of iOS/mobile technology and security principles.
  • Experience: Background in reverse engineering or related research initiatives. Android experience is a plus but not essential.
