As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our LTC department, you will play a vital role in implementing the resident/patient care plan by assisting with activities of daily living, education, recreation, and transportation in alignment with established nursing department policies, procedures, and standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate CNA to join our team. As a CNA at JobRialto, you will report directly to the RN/LPN team leader and uphold resident/patient privacy, confidentiality, and rights while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents/patients with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, ambulating, personal care, and skin care.
  • Taking and reporting initial vital signs and weights promptly to the nursing staff.
  • Monitor and record intake/output and report significant changes to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with Universal Precautions and infection control procedures.
  • Maintain resident/patient confidentiality and uphold their rights.
  • Support resident/patient orientation to the unit, facility, and services.
  • Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed by the RN/LPN.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in resident/patient conditions.
Requirements
  • Must hold an active Maine C.N.A license.
  • Effective listening skills to understand and address resident/patient needs.
  • Empathy and compassion for residents, patients, and their families.
  • Ability to remain objective in challenging circumstances.
  • Team-oriented approach with tactful and courteous interaction with others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
  • Passion for providing exceptional care to long-term residents and skilled rehabilitation patients.
