MetricStream Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid

Visa Requirements: Only US citizens or Green card holders (if GC, 3 years of last 5 years must be in the US)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with MetricStream software is required. Alternatively, 5 years of experience as a MetricStream Developer without a Bachelor's degree is acceptable.
  • Proficiency in MetricStream AppStudio and completion of MetricStream technical training is mandatory.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) applications is essential.
  • Experience in customizing the platform using JAVA is required.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications for designing or redesigning intricate software components and applications.
  • Act as a technical expert for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. Utilize industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions while ensuring quality, security, and compliance standards are met.
  • Evaluate, design, develop, and customize MetricStream software based on business needs.
  • Identify gaps and creatively design and implement workarounds, product extensions, and customizations as necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Experience in developing database objects such as functions, procedures, packages, and cursors using PL/SQL, along with writing complex queries.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to problems and enhancements. Guide the team in approaching solutions effectively.
  • Engage in story discussions and estimations.
  • Knowledge of AWS development is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
