Job Overview

A prominent distributor in the food and beverage sector is on the lookout for a Logistics Transport Specialist to enhance their operational team.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics and transportation.

This is a full-time role offering competitive compensation of up to $18.75 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the delivery process by preparing, loading, and unloading goods, while ensuring the vehicle is maintained in optimal condition.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
  • Maintain vehicle performance by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating necessary repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • A valid and clean driver's license is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a delivery or logistics role.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
