Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a contract position at a reputable area facility where expert therapy professionals help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for everyday life.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program and be licensed in good standing with the State License Board.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
  • Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
  • Current hands-on CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
