Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This position will be based in Austin, TX, and will involve working with elementary and junior high school students.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to determine student eligibility.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide progress reports to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of special education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and accountability.
