Job Title: Medical Case Manager EI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Case Manager EI to join our team at Managed Care Advisors. As a Medical Case Manager EI, you will work independently in a home office setting, providing high-quality care and support to federal workers with occupational-related injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement case management plans for injured workers throughout the various stages of recovery.
  • Coordinate and facilitate diagnosis, treatment, and support services for workers with occupational-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Provide medical expertise and serve as a critical communication link between parties involved in medical disability cases.
  • Track patient improvement goals and monitor progress in a database.
  • Implement integrated medical disability case management services to prevent, minimize, or overcome disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted State Registered Nursing License.
  • 3-5 years of related clinical experience in medical case management, workers' compensation, occupational health, and/or a comparable field.
  • 3+ years of case management experience.
  • Preference given to Nurses with National Certification in case management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and computer savvy.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Reliable High-Speed Cable or Fiber Optic Internet service and Internet Router in established home office.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Prior to hiring and training, able to pass a preliminary credit and background check.
  • Upon hire, federal security clearance will be required.
