Job Summary

Bridgeway Benefit Technologies is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our technology team as an IT Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and improve IT processes.

This is a remote position with a preference for East Coast candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability and performance of IT systems.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Control internal IT costs and manage resource allocation for various projects and customer support.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide daily work prioritization for the team to ensure operational excellence.
  • Create IT KPIs and operating metrics and report out monthly to the CTO's leadership team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and fulfill their technology needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to define Enterprise System requirements and design integration solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions to improve business processes.
  • Support cybersecurity efforts led by Sr. Director, Information Security.
  • Collaborate with security and platform teams to ensure security of all IT systems and data.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure the best value and service.
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and integrate relevant innovations into the company's IT infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT or a related role, with a minimum of 2 years in people leadership.
  • Proven experience in managing IT teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise with Microsoft services such as Office 365, Entra ID, and Teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP).
  • Experience with and usage of Agile management methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
