Optician - Licensed

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to provide exceptional service to our members. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing spectacles and other optical aids to adults and children based on prescriptions from eye care professionals. You will also advise and assist patients with selecting lenses and frames, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and enter order data accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding member service to drive sales and satisfaction
- Take precise measurements, ensure correct frame selection, and read prescriptions with attention to detail
- Adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality policies at all times
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Stay up-to-date with club policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and excellence
- Knowledge of optical products and business practices is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Open shift availability is necessary, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules
- Must be licensed to work as an optician, with a valid certification
This role is located in a comfortable indoor area, with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces, with occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
CompensationThe pay range for this position starts at $25.00 per hour, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for growth and development.
