Job Summary

The Catheterization Laboratory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cath Lab, ensuring that all procedures and cases are performed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, managing budgets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Operational Management: Supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Quality Initiatives: Implement and maintain quality improvement programs, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, select, and develop staff, ensure effective employee orientation and training, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the Cath Lab program, including marketing and outreach efforts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or healthcare administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular services setting, with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • Certifications: Registered CVI Specialist, Basic Life Support, and BLS Instructor certifications.

The Catheterization Laboratory Manager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with physicians, staff, and patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
