Position Overview
The Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities, engaging them in recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to their needs. This position may include responsibilities such as administering medications, provided the individual holds the necessary MedTech or LPN certification.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a valid state certification as a Patient Care Assistant or be licensed as a Practical Nurse. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals is highly desirable. Additional certifications such as MedTech or LPN are advantageous.
