The Case Manager will work closely with the Outreach Team to provide psycho-educational and holistic health outreach programs to students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the Case Manager will assist with campus support services during times of crisis and attend regular staff meetings and professional development programs.


Responsibilities include:


  • Coordinating student referrals to off-campus mental health services
  • Maintaining and updating the Center's mental health resource list
  • Developing resource documents for students seeking off-campus mental health referrals
  • Maintaining timely and thorough client contact documentation
  • Tracking Case Manager service data for the CHW Annual Report
  • Providing psycho-educational and holistic health outreach programs
  • Assisting with campus support services during times of crisis
  • Attending regular staff meetings and professional development programs

Requirements include:


  • Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Licensed as a counselor or social worker in Massachusetts
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical case management
  • Experience working with distressed individuals in a higher education setting or community setting
  • Knowledge of and ability to provide suicide assessment and crisis intervention
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse constituencies
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts mental health legal standards and professional ethical standards
  • Demonstrated multicultural competence in mental health service provision
  • Strong student service orientation

This is a 10-month, 20-hour/week position.
