Position Summary
We are currently seeking Custom Protection Officers to serve in the Coral Gables-Homestead area, FL.
As a Custom Protection Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients within residential settings such as gated communities, condominiums, or apartment complexes. Your duties will include access control and patrolling while maintaining a visible presence and demonstrating outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Full Time- Overnight shifts (11pm-7am or 7pm-7am)

Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Active driver's license
- Valid Florida Security Class D and G Licenses
- At least one of the following:
- U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge)
- Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (120 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
- Minimum age of 21
- Proficiency in using a computer or tablet
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions for the entire shift
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A drug screening may also be required as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.

- Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and executing emergency response activities when necessary.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas.
- Be prepared for varying working environments and conditions based on client site requirements.
