Production Scheduler Job Description

KN Platech America Corporation, a prominent manufacturer of high-quality plastic blow-molded components, seeks an experienced Production Scheduler to join our team in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prepare, update, and maintain production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and meet shipping and customer deadlines.
  • Assist in updating ERP data, production reporting, and maintaining the integrity of production-related system data.
  • Participate in the development of production scheduling processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • Three years of production/manufacturing scheduling experience, preferably in batch processes like blow molding, injection, or metal press.
  • ERP experience required, IQMS preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to strategically plan and manage schedules effectively.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Automotive manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to understand products, processes, equipment capacity, and run rates.
