Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM PST, or weekends from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and verify prescription information.
- Communicate with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers to resolve claims issues.
- Process prescriptions from intake to completion.
- Address customer inquiries and ensure accurate information is provided.
- Meet productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining good attendance.
- Fulfill prescription orders and interpret prescription instructions.
- Manage phone communications with professionalism.
- Document interventions and track outcomes with the pharmacy team.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Nevada.
- 6+ months of experience in insurance claims processing and resolution.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Proficient in Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Knowledge of various insurance processes, including pre-approval and authorizations.
- Experience in sterile compounding.
