We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at the AC Marriott Ballantyne. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to all guests, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Wipe up spills and maintain cleanliness of all appliances and counter space throughout the morning.
  • Remove trash and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Be proactive in counting money before a shift begins to ensure accuracy.
  • Greet and welcome customers, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, and expenses in cash registers or record them in computers.
  • Inform customers about available payment options, including cash, check, credit card, and debit card.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a note of stock that is about to finish.
  • Handle money, currencies, and coins accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain records regarding transactions on computers.
  • Have basic computer awareness and excellent interpersonal and people skills.
  • Dress neatly and professionally at all times.
  • Be aware of multiple languages and cultures, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Integrity, honesty, and accountability are essential in all dealings.
  • Be prepared to work varied hours and weekends, including holidays.
  • Have the ability to read and write.
