At Acadia Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in LaPlace, LA.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide and coordinate patient care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that all patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
- Ensure patient safety is a top priority and take necessary actions to prevent medical errors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in unit-based nursing assignments and ensure that staff assignments are appropriate and safe based on patient needs.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current RN license as required by state.
- One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
