Join Our Team as a Radiation Oncology Physicist

We are looking for a skilled and board-certified radiation oncology physicist to enhance our dynamic team. You will collaborate with a dedicated physician and dosimetrist, contributing to a network of over 30 medical physicists nationwide.

Your Role: As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards in the planning, optimization, delivery, and evaluation of radiation therapy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate calibration of all radiation oncology treatment and simulation machines.
  • Implementing a comprehensive quality control program for radiation-producing equipment.
  • Assisting in the selection and installation of new equipment, including performance testing.
  • Overseeing the planning and delivery of radiotherapy, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
  • Managing a system for error prevention and continuous improvement.
  • Providing training and education for all Radiation Oncology staff.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics from recognized boards.
  • Experience in radiation oncology, including linac calibrations, treatment planning, and radiation safety.
