Job Summary:

The Vascular Imaging Specialist performs a full range of vascular exams, utilizing various equipment and modalities, including ultrasound and testing. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensures acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment, and reviews patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
  • Documents accurately and completely, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures, adhering to departmental guidelines and protocols.
  • Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Takes call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends, ensuring seamless coverage and patient care.
  • Properly cleans equipment and rooms between patients, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Documents appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings, ensuring clear and concise communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Ultrasound or related field.
  • Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
