Job Title: Histology Supervisor

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Histology Supervisor to join our team in Henderson, Nevada.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel engaged in preparing histologic slides from human tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologists.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel
  • Ensure the preparation of high-quality histologic slides
  • Coordinate with Pathologists for microscopic examination and diagnosis
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Manage laboratory supplies and equipment
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology
  • State licensure, if applicable
  • Board of Certification (BOC) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist and/or 2 years experience as a Histology Supervisor
