Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Shasta Community Health Center is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical exams, to develop effective treatment plans.
- Order and implement diagnostic tests and therapies according to scope of practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure high-quality patient care and address any complex medical issues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support.
- Participate in peer review processes, including chart review and interactions with physician preceptors, to maintain and improve clinical skills.
- Completed a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- California license to practice medicine upon hire and maintain current without any limitations.
- Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc., or American Nurses' Association.
- CPR certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic or doctor's office.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
