As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in the Kennebec Valley region. Under the supervision of a physician, you will diagnose, treat, and prevent healthcare issues, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Job Description:MaineGeneral Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Augusta Family Medicine team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment, providing care to a diverse population.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of healthcare issues
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Manage patient panels, providing team-based care and coordinating with care management
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with medical advancements
