As an Assembly and Tube Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and testing equipment according to engineering documentation.

About the Role:

This position involves performing all pipe, vessel, and structural assembly tasks required to complete a process equipment unit for client delivery. Key responsibilities include mechanically assembling and pressure testing equipment, ensuring final assembled equipment meets quality requirements within the allocated production schedule, and preparing equipment for shipping. Other duties include loading and unloading equipment for transport, cutting and prepping pipe/structural components, installing/trial-fitting external accessories, point-to-point wiring of power and control wiring, proficiently running and bending pneumatic control tubing, performing hydro testing, and assembling vessel internals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of piping spools.
  • Pressure testing of equipment.
  • Loading and unloading equipment for transport.
  • Cutting and prepping pipe/structural components.
  • Installing/trial-fitting external accessories.
  • Point-to-point wiring of power and control wiring.
  • Proficiently running and bending pneumatic control tubing.
  • Performing hydro testing.
  • Assembling vessel internals.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wire diagrams, P&IDs, and general assembly drawings with high accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Excellent pipe and structural assembly proficiency in pressure piping and process vessel manufacturing.
  • Good mechanical and piping aptitude, and class-appropriate level of experience.
  • High school or vocational school diploma or equivalent necessary.
  • Higher vocational welding background preferable.
  • Experience with ASME/ANSI Piping Codes helpful.
  • Experience in an ISO 9000 environment suggested.

This is a full-time position with benefits including dental and health insurance. Working hours are from 6am to 4:30pm.
