EKG Technician Position SummaryWe are seeking an EKG Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and processing graphic charts representing electrical activity of the heart. This will involve scanning Holter recordings and setting up and running patients on stress tests. The EKG Technician will also assist the physician in evaluating cardiac electrical activity.
Responsibilities- Obtain and process graphic charts representing electrical activity of the heart
- Scan Holter recordings and set up and run patients on stress tests
- Assist the physician in evaluating cardiac electrical activity
- Provide direct patient care appropriate to the full spectrum of patient population
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Basic EKG certificate or on-the-job training
- Ability to type 25 wpm of technical medical language from cassette tapes
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non-12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
